NON-DOMESTIC RATES

32A. NON-DOMESTIC RATES AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
The Customer acknowledges that the Unit and/or the Customer's occupation or use of the Unit may be entered in the Valuation Roll and may give rise to a Non-Domestic Rates account in the Customer's name.
The Wee Storage Company may be required, or otherwise lawfully permitted, to provide information concerning the Customer's occupation of the Unit to the relevant local authority, Assessor, valuation authority or other competent public authority.
Information supplied may include the Customer's name, address, contact details, Unit number or description, date of occupation, date of vacation and other information reasonably required for non-domestic rating purposes.

Responsibility for Non-Domestic Rates relating to the Customer's occupation of the Unit rests with the Customer where the Customer is identified as the liable ratepayer.
The Customer is responsible for dealing with all correspondence, notices and bills issued to them by the relevant local authority or Assessor.
The Customer is also solely responsible for checking whether they may qualify for any exemption, discount or Non-Domestic Rates relief and for completing and submitting any application required to claim such relief.
The Wee Storage Company does not complete, submit or manage applications for Non-Domestic Rates relief on behalf of Customers and does not act as the Customer's agent in connection with relief applications.
The Customer should not assume that relief has been granted simply because they may meet published eligibility criteria. Any applicable relief must be applied for where required and is subject to approval by the relevant local authority.

Any liability for Non-Domestic Rates and any entitlement to exemption or relief is determined by the relevant local authority and/or Assessor under applicable law.
The Wee Storage Company does not guarantee that the Customer will qualify for any particular exemption or relief and is not responsible for any Non-Domestic Rates, penalties, interest, recovery costs or other charges resulting from the Customer failing to apply for relief, failing to respond to correspondence or providing inaccurate or incomplete information.
The Customer must contact the relevant local authority directly if they require assistance with a Non-Domestic Rates bill or relief application.

The Customer must completely remove all Goods and vacate the Unit by 6:00pm on the Termination Date unless otherwise agreed.
